Al Kingsley, Chair of Hampton Academies Trust, Managing Director of NetSupport and author of 'My Secret EdTech Diary' shares how EdTech and digital citizenship plays such a vital role in children's and young people's learning across every school in the Trust. Becky Waters has been the headteacher of Dogsthorpe Infant School since 2015, having joined the school as a newly qualified teacher in 2001. She began her role as headteacher with the school having been identified by Ofsted as 'Requiring Improvement'. One year on from her appointment and after huge structural and managerial changes at the school, Ofsted returned and reinstated Dogsthorpe Infant School as a good provider of education. Ofsted returned again four years later and said it continued to be a good school. In December 2020, Mrs Waters played an instrumental part in the school becoming an 'Academy Comverter' and Dogsthorpe Infant School joined Hampton Academies Trust. Mrs Waters reflects in this episode of 'LaunchPad' on the past year and the immense pressures placed upon schools and teachers throughout the pandemic. She also talks about Christmas 2021 and her hopes for 2022.
